But random lockup still persists using DRI and radeon mobility M6 LY. No response to even ctrl-alt-del. Disabling DRI in xf86config allows multiple logins without kdm hanging. Is reproducible regardless of DM used - even xdm hangs. Also, DRI works OK the first time through KDM and whenever X is started from console mode using startx. cpq presario 1720 us laptop - p3 coppermine, radeom mobility, updated Mdk 9.0 ( from cooker) .
