I downloaded cooker a couple of days ago (the 18th) I was able to install it and there was nothing special I needed to do. I had the same errors and the program made 4 cds (left it making cds with the default options). Maybe its hardware related, could try copying the file to another system and converting it using rpm2cpio to see if the file is 100% ok. Sorry I cant be much use. Tom
