Why urpmi needs an external program to download a file from an ftp server ?
gnome libs doesn't support ftp transfert ? IMHO, using kde/qt would have been
much easier and less buggier to do this job.
Anyway, urmpi should report errors even without using -v.

doesn´t accept anonymous login anymore. urmpi prints:

So urmpi says ¨...retrieving done¨ whereas it hasn´t retrieved anything.
