Hi
For a while now killall has been doing nothing when you try to execute
it on a process, for example
I load up a kate process, then in a terminal type killall kate and get
the response 'no processes killed', even though kate is right there in
top running away!?
its annoying because it means I have to close down pppd using top
everytime i reboot or shutdown otherwise the conexant adsl modem won't
let the system shutdown properly (driver bug but there's no newer drivers)
cris.
