I think recent krb5-devel provides headers for libcom_err (actually conflicts with libext2fs2-devel IIRC). I guess ideally libcom_err should be split out? Speaking of kerberos, I see 1.3 final is out now. There are some advantages to compiling samba3 against kerberos 1.3 ... Florin, any chance you can update to it?
