Oops, it was in fact a packaging error in libgnome2 package..

To fix the bug, you have to :
-uninstall libgnome2 (use --nodeps), before upgrade won't work correctly (bad
%postun in old package)
-install new libgnome2
-remove previous typing_break keys from your gconf database (rm -rf
$HOME/.gconf/desktop/gnome/typing_break)

I was using drwright before gnome-control-center 2.3.4.  On installing the new
version, it obsoleted drwright, and installed gnome-typing-monitor.

I run gnome-typing-monitor, and it installs an icon onto my panel notification
area, but the tooltip says it is disabled.

Right-click -> preferences does nothing, and nothing appears in my .xsession-errors.
