Well. at least we know it's not only Mandrake where this is a problem. Here is a
document describing how it should be done:

http://www.kdevelop.org/doc/HowToInstallKdevelopOnSuSE.txt

(I don't thikn it should be necessary to install apache, but if it is, maybe a
config file in /etc/httpd/conf.d could be added with the necessary configs).

Maybe there should be a kdevelop-docs package, which includes the docs, and
depends on the tools required to get this all to work?

Installing kdevelop (with proper function and library docs) continues to be a
major pain. The initial kdevelop start up still assumed qt docs are in
/usr/doc/qt-doc/html when they are really in /usr/lib/qt3/doc/html (mdk 9.0 B2).
kdelib docs are also a pain as several non-standard packages are required to
recreate the kdelib docs. Can kdevelop somehow run rpmdrake to prompt for auto
 install of the needed packages?
