[Cooker] network installation of Cooker fails

I'm trying to install Cooker from the network. The process goes smoothly 
until I reach the beginning of "Choose packages to install":
I get the following error box:
An error occured
Can't locate IO.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/bin/perl-install .
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0
etc.
