When it boots up, dunno y both drivers are trying to load at the same time --> emu10k1 failed to load. The info you requested is below. The tricky part is, I think, if one uses Gnome, the volumn control will start when desktop launches. If one tries to switch sound drivers under harddrake, it will fail cuz it can't shut down alsa since it's being used by volumn control.
