  Well, from what I remember:
    - I've backuped my /home and /etc
    - I've run fdisk to use 4 Gigs for the 7.1
    - I've made an install of the 7.1
    - I've restored the relevant files in /etc

  And it works now as it did in 7.0.

  I connect to the net with:
    ifup ippp0
    isdnctrl dial ippp0

  and disconnect with 
    isdnctrl hangup ippp0
    ifdown ippp0

 I use the 2.3.99-pre6 kernel, if it matters.
