I've spotted a couple of erros in the freeciv spec file, one is that esd is enabled as well as sdl_mixer, so adding --disable-esd to the configure is useful (as SDL_mixer would be the better sound option), the other is that the buildrequires states imlib-devel, although the gtk2 version of the client doesn't need this anymore.
