Please see the cursor_themes package in contrib, which has all the
freely-licensed cursor themes I could find, and a script (which has a menu
entry) which allows you to choose your cursor theme.

Maybe XFree86 could mark /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme as
%config(noreplace) (so users who have set their default theme by running
choose_cursor as root don't have it reset), and/or include a theme from
cursor_themes?

Or, maybe mandrake_theme should provide cursor themes also?

I am not going to confirm this bug, as cursor themes are provided.

I think that the current x cursors (black arrow, watch, arrow_with_watch) are
old and ugly and should be replaced by some new and nicer looking ones. There
could be an option to select one from a few different sets of cursors.
