Product: dynamic Component: dynamic Summary: Automatic entries added to /etc/fstab for LVM partitions in 9.2 RC2 Product: dynamic Version: 0.10-1mdk Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: dynamic AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I installed 9.2 RC2 on a VMware virtual machine configured with simulated 4Gbyte 3 IDE disks (hda, hdb and hdd) and a simulated CD-ROM (hdc). The installation had a root partition on /dev/hda1, swap on /dev/hda2 and a LVM volume group with the remaining partitions (/usr, /var, /opt, /tmp and /home) covering /dev/hda3, /dev/hdb1 and /dev/hdd1. After a successful installation I noticed that the /etc/fstab file had an entry for /dev/hdd1 even though this is a part of the LVM volume group and therefore unmountable. The fstab entry can be removed, but is reinserted on next boot. This appears to be a continuation of a bug (Bug # 4142) that I previously reported 2 months ago. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
