The computer is an IBM Thinkpad A20m with Sony CRX85A PCMCIA DVD/CD-RW. It
worked fine with 9.0. However, the CD-RW does not work with 9.1. With 9.1, it
causes a kernel panic on boot.
Installation of 9.2 detects the CD burner and modifies lilo.conf correctly with
"hde=ide-scsi". However, the drive is still detected as IDE instead of SCSI on
boot, and the CD-RW does not work, although it seems to be functional as a CD-ROM.
