I tried to configure the connection without the MCC, just following the speedtouch-howto and using the speedtouch-1.2-beta2 package. Well, it doesn't work at all, so I don't think the trouble comes from the MCC itself. I also added the line "alias speedtch off" in /etc/modules.conf but after a reboot the connection still didn't work at all... The command "pppd call adsl" doesn't do nothing (neither error message nor confirmation of connection). The connection was ok with the 9.1 rc1 ! The only changes since I tested the 9.1 rc1 is that I added an external hard disk connected in USB (a Momobay 40 Go). This hd is note quite well detected by Mdk: just after the installation I could open it and browse it, but after I tried to install the modem, the hd is not reachable anymore... Maybe there is a kind of conflict or something?
