------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-15-09 14:44 ------- I found this whilst searching the net: "I had this problem with my R505DS. Try recompiling your kernel to force PCI "direct" access (CONFIG_PCI_GODIRECT=y). GOANY and GOBIOS both failed, but GODIRECT works. Of course, sbp can't log into the CD-RW/DVD drive on the dock -- but at least now it's a 1394 problem and not PCI." Maybe this will help? -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: The Sony Notebook has a DVD/CDRW on the docking station which is accessed through ieee - from all the documentaion I have found across the internet - the ohci1394 module should work - but I get an error when loading it.
