I'm using Sagem Fast800 eagle-usb modem to connect to internet via ADSL (Free
"non dégroupé" and have an eth0, here are comments for enhancement as I proceed
with drakconnect (it was 9.2.12mdk)
The text for configuring ADSL has not changed ("La façon la plus courante..."
and ends with "Si vous ne savez pas quoi choisir, utilisez pppoe"). For "Free
non dégroupé", that's not appropriate : add "si votre modem a été détecté,
suivez les choix par défaut qui devraient vous convenir" (if "Free non dégroupé"
and "dégroupé" are correctly managed).
Sagem (using pppoa) usb - detected => translate to "Sagem (pppoa utilisé) usb -
détecté"
next : LAN configuration : ok, no more annoying warning (the example 12.34.56.78
could be changed to something more realistic like 10.0.0.3 ? or 169.254.?.? like
windoze ?). IMHO, it's better to induce the noobie to choose something that
works than giving an irrealistic example (that may be followed ! well the noobie
is just that : a noobie, and Murphy's law applies which leads to unnecessary
user complaints).
