Can you attach the PDF file and the PostScript files?

description:
9.2rc2: I installed my HP LaserJet 3D after the installation of MDK via the MCC.
The locale is set to DE (german), so the printer automagically was set to A4
paper format.
Then I tried to print a pdf from within Mozilla, and I opened it with kghostview
and sent it to the printer. The printer recieved data, and then displayed "load
letter" or something like this - meaning that it got the order to print on a
letter paper - but my printer only has got A4 paper!

I tried this some times (also rebooted), but it always screamed for letter paper...

Then I installed xpdf, and xpdf printed the file - on A4 paper :-)

But the problem: the print was not centered on the paper, but started too far on
the left side - so round about 1cm of the left border of the print is missing -
and on the right side of the paper there is too much white space...

The A4 test-page I printed afterwards also was missing around on 1cm on the left
side, and on the right there was too much room left.

Oh, and I use the recommended standard driver for this printer - the one that
printerdrake suggested (ghostscript + lj3d)...

Any hint how to solve this problems? It would be great if I could print from
linux...

Thanks!
