In menu Edit / Preferences / General (Editer / Préférences / Général in French) - default encoding (encodage par défaut) = Arabe (IBM-864) => first of the list - Language (Langue) = English I would have expected respectively (I guess) Occidental (ISO-8869-1) and French as at install I choose my language preference, my keyboard... It happens with galeon-1.3.7-1mdk (haven't tried 1.3.7-2mdk yet)
