hate to burst your bubble there but this has been happening way before kernel
2.4.22-10 (whatever RC2s defacto was plus 9.1 kernels).
And as I pointed out in the other bug report *I* got xawtv working just fine,
even with the acpi=on setting (which doesn't do a darn thing btw)

description:
Whenever I try to use zapping it doesn't show the channels properly. As I recall
i had this same problem in 9.1 (with cooker and final) which i fixed by copying
the configuration over from a 9.0 user's directory. I have an ati tv wonder ve,
nvidia ti4200, use us-cable and ntsc to get my channels. *Nothing* else works
and this does include the settings for other countries (which I wouldn't expect
to work, but you never know till you try, right?). I don't have gatos drivers
installed (don't think I need em) and I don't have xawtv installed either
(zapping works/looks better). This problem has existed from RC2 through to
current cooker. If someone would be able to provide me with a configuration from
9.0 (preferably) or 9.1 that uses us-cable and ntsc I'd be really great.
