what is your exact problem? 
the way fonts are rendered in drakfont? if yes, this is a 
fontconfig/pango/gtk+ bug.

Almost every TTFfont has inline pixel font information. For example, the 
characters displayed in 10px will directly get correspoding drawing info from 
pixel bitmap embed in TTF.

But Drakfont seems cannot get such information well, especially the ASCII 
characters. In some cases, I prefer not turning on anti-alias feature. But, the 
characters' font infomation will still generated from TTF vector info.

BTW, International fonts are perfectly.
