the reason is the "failsafe" arguments line had been copied in the new kernel
entry. I don't remember if i had manually modified lilo.conf, so i can't tell
you if this is a bug or what...i suppose it's all my fault so i tag this to invalid.

my 9.1 system was updated to RC1 and then to latest cooker this morning.
since RC1, the system boots, prints "entering runlevel 5" and immediatly prints
"runlevel 1" and go single user, logged as root without asking for a password.
