Well instead of messing with 2.2.16-7, I went ahead and downloaded -8.
Everything went fine during install, but now I have no sound. I've got
sound blaster live which worked fine on MDK 7.1 final. When I try quake
I get /dev/dsp : no such device. When I try to load kmp3, I get a
segmentation fault. When I load kscd, the player starts and plays, but
no sound comes out. I'll keep this kernel loaded for now, if you know a
quick fix, could you pass it along? Thanks, Mike
