the rpm from macromedia worked for me. did you install it with urpmi? If you didn't then libstdc++ or something like that may not have been installed
From Sofware Installer (urpmi): Some package requested cannot be installed: flash-plugin-6.0.79-1.i386 (due to unsatisfied libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3) do you agree ?

This is on the third CD of the Power Pack and Download torrent isos. I installed the Power Pack download and FlashPlayer is in RPMS4/ of the 3rd CD. If I
