I performed a 9.1 to 9.2 upgrade last night.  Other than taking a
really long time, the upgrade preserved all of my previous settings.

The only thing that I noticed that changed was the old cdrecord required
users to be a part of group "xcdwriter" to use it.  9.2 now wants you to
be in "cdwriter" instead.
