I've recompiled latest kernel for 9.2 removing the VIA line for ACPI blacklist. it now works fine if you pass the noapic option at boot time.
The nice thing is that now the computer turns off automatically. I'm ready to test it more thoroughly to do a full report, but what informations do you want ? Do i need to report it directly to ACPI developpers (it seems ok for them as the 2.6.0-test5 kernel just has the good behaviour). Stef --
