Summary: MCC fails to create boot floppy in LM 9.2 Product: drakconf Version: 9.2-4mdk Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: drakconf AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I am using the 2.4.22-21mdk-i686-up-4GB kernel. When I try to create a boot floppy from mcc, it gives an error about "No space left on device" after trying to copy all relevant files for more than a minute. So I tried the command-line option: "/bin/bash /sbin/mkbootdisk --noprompt --verbose --device /dev/fd0 2.4.22-21mdk-i686-up-4GB" and got this message: Formatting /dev/fd0... mount: /dev/fd0 already mounted or /tmp/syslinux.mnt.12719.0 busy done. Copying /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-21mdk-i686-up-4GB... done. Creating initrd image... cp: writing `/tmp/mkbootdisk/initrd.img': No space left on device Error ! I omitted the raid and scsi modules and still it ran out of space. Is there any way to create a boot floppy with this kernel version ? -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
