Oi, one problem in the CUPS drivers collection package cups-drivers-0.36-3mdk was, that the web interface of CUPS didn't display the drivers sorted by manufacturers. A lot of them were in a big 'Manufacturer' section and the native CUPS ones in an 'ESP' section. In the new 4mdk version the Manufacturer entry in all PPD files were corrected with a Perl script so that all drivers appear sorted by the printer manufacturer. Till
