It seems that openjade adds a file that sgml-common wants to modify, even
though it is openjade that is dependant on sgml-common.

I tried this:-

[root@gamut b]# rpm -Uvh sgml-*.rpm openjade-1.3-6mdk.i586.rpm
sgml-common
##################################################
install-catalog: can not modify "/etc/sgml/catalog".
execution of sgml-common-0.1-6mdk script failed, exit status 2
sgml-tools
##################################################
openjade
##################################################
install-catalog: addition of /usr/share/sgml/openjade-1.3/catalog in
/etc/sgml/dsssl-1.3.cat
install-catalog: addition of /etc/sgml/dsssl-1.3.cat in /etc/sgml/catalog

I had to fix it by doing this:-

[root@gamut b]# rpm -e --nodeps sgml-common
[root@gamut b]# rpm -Uvh sgml-common-0.2-1mdk.noarch.rpm
sgml-common
##################################################
