The problem is that the installer insists that there is no hdlists Can I generate this file again or? there is a hdlists in cooker/Mandrake/base I am using hd.img to install I have cooker in /dev/hdc1/mndmirror/cooker Should I end with a slash or not? Also while in diskdrake should I select to mount the disk containing cooker on some obscure mountpoint (I have never needed to do so in the past) Michael Irving ------------------- As a continuation of the above message. When I look at the mounts when i get the above message then /dev/hdc1 isn't mounted I then mount /dev/hdc1 at /tmp/hdimage. I then go back to the installer and try again. Then I get the following error messages instead of the no hdlists found. Unable to parse /mnt/var/urpmi/hdlist.hd1.cz at /usr/bin/perl-install/pkgs.pm line 5. I think there is definetly something wrong with the installer at this time. Has anybody been able to run a hd install since yesterday (tried first time about 24h ago).
