Bttv is already include in linus 2.2.x kernel (version 0.6). 
New version (0.7) are included in development 2.3.x and 2.4.0-test kernel.
Our mandrake kernel (kernel-2.2.17-0.24mdk) has already 0.7 bttv
kernel included !!
