Hi! Before I had a SCSI-only system, so I never much bothered about how to optimize IDE drive access, but now I put an IDE drive in. Well, do I need to call hdparm each boot with the same parameters to enable the optimizations? If so, is there a file that calls hdparm automagically for me, or do I need to add a line to rc.local?
