Sounds like a network misconfiguration on your Linux machine? If you are
using the Sygate built in DHCP server, try actually specifying your IP
address on the Linux machine to something like 192.168.0.2 (if your Windows
machine is 192.168.0.1) and setting your gateway to 192.168.0.1 on your
Linux machine. Also, I've found that I have to manually put the DNS servers
in /etc/resolv.conf sometimes, in order to reach the outside world.
