How can I trace the fonts loaded by the xfs font server?
I just upgraded to the XFree86-4.0.1*28mdk packages and now I can only
get the misc fonts although xfs gives no warning or status messages
and the config file is pretty much identical to the config I had
before. I've also discovered that the world is a very different place
when all you have is fixed fonts ;)
Also, there needs to be some dependency fix required: on my first
attempt to upgrade, I was allowed to install xfs last, and this
resulted in a config file which did not include the paths to the
100/75dpi fonts. Reversing the order of the install produced a
config as expected (except for the above no-fonts-served problem)
