Unfortunately, this costs much resource. For the moment, we only provide
security upgrades for the old versions, and it already eats one person
working specifically on this (vincent).

Things like kde2 are big. For example people ask us specific upgrades to
kde2 for 7.1, 7.0, 6.1, etc. With other libs that we need to have (qt2,
etc) and moreover, evolution of compilers and specfiles (macros and such
things), it's not as obvious as doing "rpm --rebuild".

For the moment, we can't afford it.
