Trying to install perl-gettext-1.0-5mdk.i586.rpm I get the following error: # rpm -ivh perl-gettext-1.0-5mdk.i586.rpm file /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/perllocal.pod from install of perl-gettext-1.0-5mdk conflicts with file from package perl-Lingua-Ispell-0.07-3mdk This is an issue that is obviously going to plague every perl-* package that does not deal with the perllocal.pod file in a non-conflicting manner. b. -- Brian J.
