same thing happened when I tried to install from the hard disk.
advansys controllers are very common inexpensive scsi boards...

also (a minor bug) unlike 7.2, the install doesn't recognize a usb mouse
from the beginning.  You have to boot up with the usb mouse plugged into
another port with an adapter, or use two mice until the installation
installs the usb ports.

How much of the new system can be gotten by upgrading off the cds?
