[Cooker] rpc.statd wants it's own user now?

As of kernel-2.4.2-17mdk I got the following in my messages log when running rpc.statd:

Mar 17 17:56:09 pc rpc.statd[1547]: Version 0.3.1 Starting
Mar 17 17:56:09 pc rpc.statd[1547]: Warning: You should really create user rpcuser 
Mar 17 17:56:09 pc nfslock: rpc.statd startup succeeded

Also, I had to create /var/lib/nfs/statd to even get it to start:

drwx------    4 nobody   root         4096 Mar 17 17:54 statd/
