Installed Cooker from sunsite.uio.no. No problems at install. But, after reboot I didn't get the X login. I got the console, like this: Linux-Mandrake release 8.0 (Cooker) for i586 Kernel 2.4.2-20mdk on an i686 / tty1 pc-mda login: Press <return> to continue. INIT: Switching to runlevel: 3 INIT: Sending processes the TERM signal Starting alsa: [OK] And then nothing more. Could this be because some friendly soul is trying to get my i810 audio (AC'97) to work? :) Mattias
