Thank you very much!

It seems to be working, at least it connected, displayed the directory,
and is now (after issuing the command to "download") is doing
something.  (I forgot to use -v as an option, and I haven't see any
messages so far  (positive or negative).

I'll also subscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

PS: In case anybody tries to do the same thing with Penn State, note
that, in my email, I spelled caroll wrong -- it should be carroll.  (In
my commands I had been using carroll.)
