[Cooker] Howto create larger than 4gb files?

Hello!

With kernel 2.4.2, shouldn't it be possible to create files which are larger
than 4GB on a reiserfs 3.6 partition?  I've tried dd which is part of
fileutils-4.0-18mdk, but this stops at (4GB - 1Byte).

Is this expected?
