Hello, I use xfstt for many reasons but primarily because it allows Netscape to render fonts the best. However the latest Nescape (4.77-3mdk) appears to no longer be able to 'see' this font server. I know its running because : XF 4 seems incapable of looking for fonts at the end of a symbolic link, therefore neither the standard X font server nor xfs can see my true type fonts. However, KDE offers these fonts and I just know the look of xfstt rendered fonts, but Netscape no longer offers these TT fonts. As a result web pages look very bad !!! This is important to me since I design web pages and always put 'designed on a Linux platform' on them. I always use Netscape and xfstt because, dare I say it :-), this combination renders closest to Window$. I don't really want to say 'designed on a Linux platform, but then I had to use Window$ to check them !!!! :-( Owen
