Hello, Ok reinstalled again today. It now boots without and error. But now I cannot get Gnome to start from the startx command line. I have tried putting both GNOME and DESKTOP=GNOME in /etc/sysconfig/desktop but it still doesn't start. With GNOME in desktop KDE starts. With DESKTOP=GNOME icewm starts. Also ALSA-DRIVER-0.9.0beta3 now compiles but there is unresolved sysmbols in snd-rawmidi.0. -- Best regards, Robin mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
