When I wrote my answer (Date: Mon, 14 May 2001 17:34:49 +0200),
it was not yet released (mail from Ettore Perazzoli at Date: 14 May 2001 17:55:34
-0400) and it was not present on ftp.gnome.org...

Try to install ximian gnome if you can :))
