When can we (testers) expect to see a shift from the '2.96' that doesn't entirely exist to the 3pre dev snapshots of gcc? How much more to go until it becomes usable by your standards? Is there some way to do a compat if gcc3 is so incredibly incompatible when building certain programs? My homegrown (no standard distibution) p166 is currently compiling mozilla with the gcc 3 20010516 (prerelease). So far no probs. but that says as close to nothing as possible.
