Hello,
I tried to do a clean install from sunet as recently as yesterday
but keep running into the GConf problem, and the install dies, or if I
un-select GConf, IT unselects enough of KDE and Gnome to make both
desktops
inoperable. so... I went back to my Mandrake 8.0 and started layering on
the updates.
What a project! ok, everything is working, but i have not been
able to update KDE. I get the following:
Dependency Problem:
libsensors.so.1 is needed by kdebase-2.2-0.alpha2.5mdk
libpcre.so.0 is needed by kdelibs-2.2-0.alpha2.3mdk
libpcreposix.so.0 is needed by kdelibs-2.2-0.alpha2.3mdk
What packages have these? Since I have no idea what they do,
I didn't risk loading them with --nodeps.
Saw the post on bzip2 - any other things i should load ?
