Boot:

No mouse in console mode although the gpm service was set by default from
boot. Succesfully changed in Mandrake Control Center.
Installed NVIDIA driver and RealPlayer, the last one only functioning in
Netscape.
http://news.bbc.co.uk is functioning in Mozilla and Netscape but not in
Konqueror which gives:
Unknown host news.bbc.co.uk
Lyx launched succesfully but Klyx dies as before.
Trying to respond via email to writer in Linux-mandrake's archieve fails from
Konqueror with:
Could not start process
Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kmailservice %u'.
