Sorry, what do you mean?  Are you talking about, that urpmi shhould
check for "hack" + package name?

I don't think so.  The RPM should have a Provides: line, so hackMesa
should have

        Provides: Mesa

This way, RPM recognizes that hackMesa and Mesa are interchangeable.
