Yeah, that's right - but you can always (? well, most of the time...)
recover from this, using »rpm2cpio«:
rpm2cpio some-pkg.rpm | cpio -id
Now, this will extract the rpm to the current directory, so you better
first create a subdirectory manually :) And from this directory you can
copy the files to the final destination.
