1. I really want to figure out what makes this thing tick;
2. I'm upgrading to 8.1 beta as I go along by compiling all the stuff I
use;
3. Some of the guys around here are interrested in a Mandrake i686
installation so I'm helping there a bit;
4. I'm looking through the various packages/sources to find out where I
can add value.
